Where do I enter my time and attendance information?
You should alrady have a user ID and password, with that information, go to the Quicktime Login and follow the prompts.

Who can reset my password?
Contact your Servicing HR office or Regional Payroll Coordinator.

What is the password configuration?

  • Require a minimum of 12 characters in length;
  • Require use of a special character, numeric, and both upper and lower case letters;
  • Password expiration set to 60 days;
  • Must be retained for a minimum of one day (unless reset by your Administrator);
  • Revoke access after 5 invalid attempts; and
  • Prevent reuse of a password for 24 occurrences.

When does the Quicktime password expire?
The password expires every 90 days.

Who do I contact when I have problems correcting errors in Quicktime?
In this order, please contact your timekeeper, supervisor, local administrator, or regional administrator. The Quicktime Help Desk can be reached at 1-888-367-1622 or 303-969-5500 Option 1, then Option 1, 2 or 3.

What do I do when I log on to Quicktime and receive the error Page Can Not Be Found?
Generally, an employee receives this message because the Quicktime site is unavailable so you should try again later.

On Sunday I tried to log on to Quicktime but received the error Page Can Not BeFound, why?
Quicktime is not available on Sundays. Hours of Operation are: Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (MST/MDT) and Saturday: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Is there a FWS Handbook?
Yes. A handbook is available on the Service’s Quicktime Intranet site.

I only see three lines on the Quicktime screen, what do I do to see the whole screen?
Press the F11 key to enlarge the screen.

How do I access Quicktime from home or while on TDY?<
In order to access Quicktime you must either go through the LAN or have initiated the VPN on your laptop. Ask your IRTM department how to request VPN access.

I can’t see the OK button, what do I do?
If you cannot see the bottom of the menu or cannot see the OK button on the leave request after you select type of leave, press the F11 refresh screen and make sure to have your timekeeper verify that your profile does not have the “Screen Reader Friendly” checked on.

Can I enter a timesheet for a future pay period?
No. Timesheets may be submitted for the current pay period only. Your timekeeper will have to enter your T&A data for you if you are unavailable to do so for a future pay period.

How can I check my leave balance?
Log on to Quicktime as “Employee” then select ‘Leave Balance.’

How do I request to use leave?
Employees can submit a leave request electronically by logging on to the NBC site as an “Employee” and selecting “Leave Request” or, depending on your Regional policy and your supervisor’s preference you may have the option of requesting leave using the OPM Form 71, Request for Leave or Approved Absence.

I submitted a leave request. How will I know if it has been approved?
After the certifier approves, disapproves, or cancels the request, you will see a message when you log into Quicktime regarding its disposition (approved, disapproved or canceled).

How do I look at my leave requests?
Select "Leave Request" from the main menu, click on the "Previous," "Current," or "Future" tab at the top, as appropriate. Then select the specific leave request to review the time period to which it applied.

Can I change my leave request?
Yes. If the leave request is in a “pending” status, you may make changes. If the request has already been approved or disapproved, the certifier will need to change the status to “Cancel” and you will need to initiate a new leave request.

How are Leave Balances posted in Quicktime?
Leave balances are translated from FPPS after every calculate is run the first Wednesday night after the pay period ends. Quicktime will add the current pay period leave accruals and subtract any leave you have already posted to your T&A.
