Federal Advisory Committee To help plan for the future, following the Presidential Proclamation, the Secretary of the Interior directed the establishment of the Federal Planning Advisory Committee to make recommendations to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on a plan for the new Monument. During its tenure, the Committee provided invaluable assistance to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on management goals and objectives, a vision for the future, elk management, management alternatives, and a host of other topics. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is indebted to this talented and committed group.
