Comprehensive Conservation Plan - A multi-year planning process has begun to develop a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for Guam National Wildlife Refuge. As part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, Refuges are required to have a CCP in place to guide the management of fish, wildlife, plants, habitats and public uses for a period of 15 years.

A Draft CCP/EA for Guam NWR is available for public review and comments. Comments are due August 24, 2009.

Planning Update announces Public Open House Meetings on August 4th in Dededo, and August 6th in Hagatna, and includes a summary of the CCP alternatives.
