The Pony Express road is rough with many small pot holes west of Simpson Springs.
The dirt road off the end of HWY 174 gets bad with rain. The road due south of the Refuge to the Weiss Hwy is very rough but passable.
Roads to the west of Fish Springs have varying degrees of damage due to large truck traffic.
Recent graveling operations have left many rocks on the road way. These could result in tire
damage.
