Project Description and Outcome:

This project replaced a damaged, unidentifiable bridge/culvert structure with a bridge at Two Moose Creek, a tributary of the Anchor River. The site is on a right-of-way to a major gravel mine operation, blocked juvenile fish passage, and caused a significant and chronic sedimentation problem. Juvenile coho and chinook salmon, Dolly Varden, steelhead, and resident rainbow trout spawning or moving downstream of the crossing were blocked from up to 18 miles of creek habitat and a large wetland complex.
