Project Decription, Outcome and Benefits:

This project replaced a perched culvert with a properly designed oversized culvert, opening one stream mile of historic spawning and rearing habitat for coho salmon and rainbow trojt populations and more than 600 acres of upstream watershed. This project had been identified as a high priority by the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Partners included Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
