| Project Description: |
The Big Horn River,
located on the Crow Indian Reservation was changed from a warm water
prairie stream to a cold water environment with the construction
of the Yellowtail Dam in the 1960s. Installation of a rotating screen
enhanced recruitment in this main spawning stream for the new rainbow
trout population. |
