Project Description: Since 1929, the New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam (NSBLD) has impeded access to historical spawning habitat for several anadromous fish species. Passage at NSBLD is identified as a high priority in the interagency anadromous fish plan for the Savannah River, will enhance the goals of the Robust Redhorse Conservation Committee, and is required by re-authorization of the NSBLD in 2000.
