Project Description: Since the 1930s, the Coloso Dam on the Culebrinas River has impeded or blocked access to river habitat. A preliminary fishway design is being developed for this 10-foot-high barrier located 1.5 miles upstream from the mouth of the Culebrinas River. Partner entities in Puerto Rico will refine the design and construct the fishway.
