Prescribed Burns Provide Training to Partners
Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge - 2003
Fire staff at the refuge relied heavily on help from neighboring firefighters to complete two controlled burns. The projects also provided a valuable opportunity for prescribed fire training to firefighters from Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex in California, and Bureau of Land Manangement districts from Lakeview, Oregon and Winnemucca, Nevada.
