Chesapeake Bay Field Office innovative ideas for development of the Citizen Stewardship Initiative, part of the President's Chesapeake Bay Restoration and Protection Executive Order 13508, at the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education Conference. The presentation concentrated on coordination of federal efforts to improve the K-12 environmental education through teacher training, student experiences and greening of school grounds and buildings. The conference was attended by more than 600 regional environmental educators.
