Chesapeake Bay Field Office Conducts Wetland Restoration Workshop With State Partner

Forty participants attended a planning and design workshop sponsored by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC). The workshop was held on March 17th at the Blackbird National Estuary Reserve facility near Smyrna, DE.  Chesapeake Bay Field Office's Partners for Fish and Wildlife State Coordinator, Al Rizzo, served as co-instructor for the workshop. The workshop focused on  planning, designing and implementing  wetland restoration projects using innovative techniques developed by the Service and DNREC. Participants included private sector consultants and state and federal resource managers.
