On February 19th, 2013, biologists, Barb Hosler and Christ Mensing, and one Pathways student, Megan Cross, from the East Lansing Field Office, represented the US Fish and Wildlife Service at a Natural Resources and Sustainability Career Fair on the Michigan State University campus. The career fair helped connect students with backgrounds in environmental studies and biology with conservation organizations, consulting firms, and government agencies such as the Service.  We were able to connect with over 100 students and share information about employment opportunities. Many of the participants attending the career fair showed interest in pursuing a future with the Service and left with numerous resources to help them down that path.
