Education
The Entiat National Fish Hatchery (ENFH) provides educational opportunities and experiences to people of all ages. Hatchery staff welcome the public to visit the facility, learn about hatchery operations, and gain understanding about the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services fisheries program. Entiat NFH hosts several events throughout the year that focus on aquatic education. Entiat National Fish Hatchery is part of the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Complex (LNFHC) Information and Education (I&E) Department. This comprehensive year-round program provides natural resource education, visitor services, and public outreach to more than 150,000 visitors per year. North central Washington school districts and colleges, agency partners, and local communities are also recipients of this department’s activities.
