Purpose:
To directly fund high priority on-the-ground recovery actions as identified
in approved, draft and final recovery plans to help move species toward recovery,
and ultimately delisting.
Eligibility:
Any agencies, Tribes, local governments, private organizations, and landowners.
Area:
Statewide
Typical Projects:
Projects involved with the removal of fish passage barriers, monitoring, radio
telemetry, exotic species removal, habitat enhancement, captive breeding,
and surveys.
Financial Information:
Proposals compete regionally and generally range from $10,000 to $25,000.
Cost share and partners are not required, but will increase a proposal’s
competitiveness if included.
