Working with and Recognizing Schools

- Send a certificate with all the stamps for each year on it, frame it, and send it to schools recognizing their participation in the Junior Duck Stamp Program. (ME)

Participant Relations

- Alaska has developed the Betsy Whitehill Determination Award; a winner is selected for this award from a random pool of eligible entrants and given a $500.00 savings bond donated by Ducks Unlimited (along with other prizes). The purpose of the award is to honor students who have entered the contest for at least two years, but have not necessarily received recognition for their artwork. (AK)

State Winners

- Order backpacks and attach the Junior Duck Stamp patch-give these gifts to second and third place winners. (CA)

- State conservation message winners receive savings bonds. (AK)
