DescriptionBoating Infrastructure Grant Tier I project to replace and relocate the East transient tie-up on Coon Island, Multnomah Channel, Columbia County. The existing wood transient tie-up was located up against the shore, providing limited use. In addition there was no ADA accessibility and the float was very worn and unstable to walk upon. The new concrete transient tie-up was located further out in the water allowing internal and external tie-up space. The new gangway and walkway provide ADA access to a composting toilet, nature trails and picnic areas.
