Directions to Refuge Hunt Areas    

NEW REFUGE PERMIT PROCESS

1. Read and understand the 2011-2012 Waterfowl Hunting Regulations (posted above).
2. Go to http://www.fws.gov/desfbay/Hunt_Form3-2357.pdf and fill out fields 1-3.
3. Print Form and sign (field #8) the application.
4. Applications can be mailed or submitted in person.

Mailed Applications
Please send your application along with a self-addressed and stamped envelope to:

We will mail you a permit that will have your name, permit number and the gate lock combination for entry into refuge hunt areas.

Submit Applications in Person
You can also bring your applications along with a self-addressed and stamped envelope to our Visitor Center in Fremont. The Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am until 5pm. It is closed on all national holidays. See http://www.fws.gov/desfbay/directions.htm for directions to the Visitor Center. We will mail you a permit that will have your name, permit number and the gate lock combination for entry into refuge hunt areas. NOTE: We will not be able to process your permit on site at the time your application is delivered to the Visitor Center. The Vistior Center will deliver applications to the Hunt Program Coordinator for processing and the Hunt Coordinator will mail your permit via USPS.
