Driving Directions to Fishing Spots on the Refuge

Dumbarton Fishing Pier, Fremont
From Highway 84 (at the east end of the Dumbarton Bridge), exit at Thornton Avenue. Travel south on Thornton Avenue for 0.8 miles to the Refuge entrance on the right. Turn right into the Refuge and follow Marshlands Road for approximately 3 miles until it dead ends.


Coyote Creek Lagoon, Fremont
From I- 880, take the Fremont/Cushing Pkwy exit. Head south onto Fremont Blvd until it dead ends. There is a small parking lot to your right. Walk on the Coyote Creek Lagoon Trail to the designated fishing area.


Faber-Laumeister Unit, East Palo Alto
From Highway 101, take the University Ave Exit. Head north onto University Avenue. Turn west onto Runnymede Street. Drive until it dead ends. Walk up onto the Bay Trail until you see the sign for Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Follow the Faber-Laumeister Trail to the end.
