We are therefore no longer accepting applications Teens who are willing to work hard and who enjoy working outdoors can apply to work at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge this summer. Deer Flat will hire four or five area teens to work in this summer’s Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program. The refuge is located at Lake Lowell, five miles southwest of Nampa, Idaho. Selected participants will begin work on Monday, June 17 and continue through Friday, August 9.
