GIS Partnerships, Successes and Current Applications - Prior Information
- Great Bay, NH GIS application
information
A one year GIS analysis of species habitats in Great Bay, NH. This was done by the Gulf of
Maine FWS Office, Region 5 and their partners. The site includes text, tables, appendixes,
and figures for 26 species that were modeled, as well as figures for the background
environmental themes. Text versions of the files may be downloaded, and the GIS data (with
metadata) may be downloaded as a raster (*.bil format) file. This format can be brought
into Arc/Info using the image grid command, or viewed as images in ArcView. The metadata
is still in draft format.
- Casco Bay, ME
Similar GIS analysis, but without the metadata. This was an earlier study and the offices
have not yet gone back to create the metadata.
