Office Locations:
The files below were created using the information in the U.S. FWS Corporate Master Table System. That table contains location information on all the offices within the Service that have an organization code. Unstaffed offices and some other facilities may not be included. The latitude and longitude points used are usually the location of the main administrative site. The latitude and longitude data is not completely verified, but is the best we have at this time. If you find errors we would appreciate information on the correct location of the office; organization code, new latitude and longitude, and how those values were determined. This data is dynamic - changes will be posted as needed, but Service users can check the CMT also for updates. The data now posted is current as of 1/03/2008. Send your e-mail with questions to the contact person below.
The data below is in shapefile format unless otherwise indicated. All files are zipped, except the Metadata. The Lat/Long are mostly from MicroSoft Streets and Trips, with WGS 84 datum.

Other files: This zipped file contains dbf files with information from the Corporate Master Table system on county codes and names, state codes and names, FWS Ecosystem codes and names, and congressional districts. There is an organizational code column in each file, so this data can be linked directly to the shapefiles.
Program and Organization information: These zipped files are also dbf format. They contain the program and organizational acronyms that are used in the shapefiles above, as well as the complete name for each item. This information comes from the Service Data Standards.
