National Wildlife Refuge
This refuge lies in the Panhandle of Western Nebraska. Established in 1916, the refuge is superimposed over four Bureau of Reclamation irrigation projects: Lake Minatare, Winters Creek Lake, Lake Alice and Stateline Island.
