Hudson River Trustees Release Injury Determination Report for Hudson River Date Posted: March 11, 2009 The Hudson River Natural Resource Trustees have released an Injury Determination Report for Hudson River Surface Water Resources as part of the Hudson River Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA). The Hudson River Natural Resource Trustees -- New York State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) -- are working cooperatively to conduct the NRDA. The information presented in this report demonstrates that the surface water of the Hudson River from Hudson Falls to the Battery in Manhattan is an injured resource. This report fulfills the requirements for surface water injury determination, as set forth in the DOI NRDA regulations (43 C.F.R. ᄃᄃ 11.61 and 11.62).
