Injury Determination, PCB Concentrations in Hudson River Resident Waterfowl

Date Posted: September 6, 2013

Injury Determination Report, PCB Concentrations in Hudson River Resident Waterfowl (August 2013). The Injury Determination concludes that data demonstrate that resident mallards accumulated PCBs from the Hudson River at levels that exceed the federal tolerance for PCB levels in poultry. Therefore, an injury to a biological resource -- waterfowl resident to the Hudson River -- as defined in the Department of the Interior Natural Resource Damage Assessment regulations, has occurred.
