Strategic Planning for International Conservation

Date Posted: April 1, 2010

New York Field Office Environmental Contaminants Biologist Kathryn Jahn participated in a Fish and Wildlife Service's (Service), Northeast Region Focus Group session in Annapolis, Maryland on March 30, 2010, hosted by the Service's Division of International Conservation for their Strategic Planning Initiative. Through facilitated focus group work sessions, participants provided input on factors affecting conservation in the United States and abroad, international issues that should be a priority for the Service, and means of addressing those issues. This input will be used in development of a Strategic Plan that will guide the Service's international conservation work over the next 5-10 years.
