Melissa Kennedy

Melissa KennedyMelissa started her career with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) at the Oregon State Office in June 2004 as an office assistant. She came to the Columbia River Fisheries Program Office in December of 2005.

Before joining the Service she lived in Colorado where she earned her degree as a Medical Assistant. She decided to make a change in her career goals when the opportunity arose and began working at the Service.

In her spare time she coaches soccer and runs a taxi service for her 3 children. Danielle participates in soccer, track, and choir. Kayleen is a fast pitch softball pitcher, and Steven keeps her busy with coaching him in soccer and being his Den Leader in cub scouts. In addition, Melissa has volunteered over 3000 hours in the schools that her children attend.
