Central Valley Focus Areas

In addition to working on habitat projects throughout the State, the Partners Program also has two focus areas in the Great Central Valley of California. These focus areas are centered around two National Fish and Wildlife Refuge Complexes (NWRC); Sacramento NWRC, and San Luis NWRC. Providing additional attention to private landowners in the vicinity of a Refuge helps to create a larger complex of habitats that enhance the wildlife value of the Refuge and surrounding lands.
