Will my project affect Delmarva fox squirrels?

If you are clearing forest or building roads and homes within 150' of forest and you are located within the 3 mile area surrounding known Delmarva fox squirrel sightings (see map), you may be affecting Delmarva fox squirrels and their habitat. Please go to the list request page for directions on how to see if your particular project will have adverse impacts.

We can also suggest ways to avoid or minimize adverse affects to the Delmarva fox squirrel while conducting your project. If adverse affects are unavoidable, there may be other ways to provide conservation measures that would balance out the adverse affects, and we can guide you through this process.
