The Laguna Cartagena National WIldlife Refuge provides an excellent "outdoor classroom" for educational and recreational opportunities.
From climbing the 30 foot wildlife observation tower to watching the breathtaking views while enjoying both migrating and resident birds, or walking onto the pier/boardwalk for a really close encounter with wildlife, to joining the Refuge staff on reforestation efforts.
