The endangered St. Croix ground lizard was once distributed throught St. Croix. Today it is found on Green Cay, Prodestant Cay and has been re-introduced to Reese Cay on St. Croix

In passing, you may see Brown Pelicans, Little Blue Herons, American Oystercatchers and White-cheeked Pintails. Pelicans nesting has been sporatic over the years with some years with none and other years over 100 nests.
