Camping

Two primitive campgrounds are maintained within the Refuge. Crook campground has trees, toilets, , fire rings, and picnic tables.

Swinging Bridge campground is located directly next to the Green River. It's ammenities include toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables.

Both campgrounds are located on the River's Edge Wildlife Drive and are just a short distance from locations that offer hiking, hunting, fishing, and wildlife observation.

Regulations

Camping is permitted only in designated sites at the camprounds and is limited to 14 days. To protect the solitude of the Refuge, the use of generators is prohibited. Please pack out all your trash to keep the Refuge beautiful.

Firewood is not provided. Cutting or collecting firewood is prohibited. Chain saws are prohibited. The campground is rarely filled and fees are not charged. The Refuge does not take reservations; camping is on a "first come, first serve" basis.

Developed Bureau of Land Management campgrounds are availalble nearby at Irish Canyon, Indian Crossing, and Taylor Flats.
