The Big Sit - Sunday October 11, 2009
The "Bear Bottom Sitters" will be hosting their first Big Sit on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Refuge's bunkhouse RV pad. This 24-hour bird count starts at midnight on the 11th, but team members plan to "sit" mainly during daylight hours. YOU are invited to take part! The Big Sit is FREE.

Utah Junior Duck Stamp Contest - 2009
It was another GREAT year for the Utah Contest! We had 488 entries, which took the judges nearly four hours to review. Congratulations to all the students, teachers and parents for continuing this educational and artistic tradition in Utah! Shown here is the Best of Show, as well as a pdf file of the 100 students who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, as well as Honorable Mention in all four age categories.
