Wings of Thunder Film Premiere
The long-awaited documentary film about Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge will premiere on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at our wildlife education center. A day full of special activities is planned! Wings of Thunder will be shown on the hour from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. View a special showing at 9:30 PM in Brigham City at 20 North Main Street, as part of the City's "Sights & Sounds of Summer" Film and Concert Series.
Copies of the DVD will be sold in our Avocet Corner Bookstore, with profits used for Refuge education programs!

Utah Junior Duck Stamp Contest - 2009
It was another GREAT year for the Utah Contest! We had 488 entries, which took the judges nearly four hours to review. Congratulations to all the students, teachers and parents for continuing this educational and artistic tradition in Utah! Shown here is the Best of Show, as well as a pdf file of the 100 students who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, as well as Honorable Mention in all four age categories.
