WINTER REFUGE HAIKU

Bear River Refuge

Wildlife will always come first

Conserve the future

Horned Larks flit and flee

Rough-legged hawks soar above

Voles duck and dive home

Eagles perch proudly

Watching for fish and for fowl

Iconic and grand
