It is the goal of the Fish & Wildlife Service to establish and operate with the highest safety standards. Safety is the responsibility of each employee. This high standard of safety is gained through training, adherence to policy, and exercising good judgment in all operations. Our objective is to eliminate unnecessary or unacceptable risks associated with the use of aircraft in support of Fish & Wildlife missions. It is the employees responsibility to reduce or eliminate hazards that are associated with aviation operations through proper planning, following established rules and policy, and decision making based on sound risk management.
