Proposed Designation of Critical Habitat for Flatwoods Salamander

Endangered Species Act Protection for American Eel Not Needed

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today announced the completion of an extensive status review of the American eel, concluding that protecting the eel as an endangered or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act is not warranted. More info HERE.
