Fishing

Fishing is permitted in accordance with State and Federal laws on all Waterfowl Production Areas. The deeper, more permanent lakes may hold northern pike, yellow perch and bullhead during high water years. However, due to winterkill, most of the WPA's on the Arrowwood District do not hold sufficient water to support a fishery. Walk in access is permitted year-round but vehicle use is strictly prohibited. Contact the District Manager for current regulations prior to fishing.
