ES Day 2013!4th Annual Arkansas Endangered Species Day Art Contest

WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

The 4th Annual Endangered Species Art was a success!  We want to thank all of the students that participated in the contest.  We had 1,360 entries from 28 schools and 1 home school.  Over 32 threatened, endangered, and candidate Arkansas species were represented this year.

Our panel of judges included a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Judges included Mathew Warriner the Federal Aid Coordinator for the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, Donna Pinckley, Professor of Art, University of Central Arkansas, and Erin Leone the endangered species biologist for the USFWS Arkansas Ecological Services Field Office.
