3rd Annual Arkansas Endangered Species Day Art Contest
WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
The 3rd Annual Endangered Species Art was a success! We want to thank all of the students that participated in the contest. We had 1,289 entries from 30 schools and 8 home schools. Over 32 threatened, endangered, and candidate Arkansas species were represented this year.
Our panel of judges included a wealth of knowledge and experience. Judges included Jane Jones-Schulz the education and information coordinator for Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, Donna Pinckley, Professor of Art, University of Central Arkansas, and Erin Leone the endangered species biologist for the USFWS Arkansas Ecological Services Field Office.
