Draft minutes from October 5 & 6 meeting approved to send out to general membership.
Bill Harvey and Derrick Toba have both been nominated to participate on the National Invasive Species Council. It is unclear when appointments will be made. Nominations sent to Gordon Brown.
Mark Sytsma has prepared material on species and contact matrix development. This will be sent out to all state participants of WRP and they are to forward to appropriate parties.
Discussion on stimulating state (wildlife agencies) action in developing invasive species programs ensued. At present invasive species management are generally not a priority for wildlife resource agencies in the west. In addressing invasive species management in the west the WRP must work to build and fund programs and staff within agencies(wildlife or others).
