Photo Release: Never Too Young to Enjoy a National Wildlife Refuge!

Preschool Young Naturalist Program
Preschool children and their parents/caretakers work on decorating their walking sticks during a recent meeting of the Preschool Young Naturalist Program at the National Wildlife Refuges Visitor Center on Roanoke Island.  The program is free and held each Friday from 10:00 to 11:00.  Although geared toward preschoolers, older children are welcome to join!  An adult must accompany the children.  Contact Cindy Heffley at 252-475-4180 or cindy_heffley@fws.gov for more information. Nature Trail
Preschool children and their parents/caretakers take a hike on the nature trail to investigate with their new walking sticks at the National Wildlife Refuges Visitor Center on Roanoke Island.
