Let’s G.O.! (Get Outside) on a Tram Tour at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge

As part of Children and Nature Awareness Month, come out to Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, April 14 to join us in a morning of fun! From 9:00 to noon, we’ll be taking the refuge tram on a scavenger hunt. Will we see an alligator or bear? Will turtles be basking in the sun? How many colorful flowers will be in bloom?

Bring your family and friends and be ready to uncover all the natural wonders of the refuge. Spring is one of the best times to get outside and get unplugged. This FREE event is for all ages—young and young-at-heart. Space is limited to 35 participants. The tram leaves from the Creef Cut Trail parking lot located at Milltail Road and HWY 64 west of Manns Harbor.

The goal of Let’s G.O.! is to bring together intergenerational groups of people to get outside together to be active, have fun and connect with nature. Families, teachers, students, mentors, grandparents and grand friends—and especially children and youth—are invited and encouraged to participate!
