Wildfest Beckons You- Friday, Oct 29 from 10-3

Red Wolf and Alligator with Children
The public is invited to Wildfest - a family-oriented celebration of wildlife and other natural and cultural resources in eastern NC - on Friday, October 29 from 10 am until 3 pm. Entrance into Wright Brothers Memorial for Wildfest participants is free. Highlights include concerts at 11 and 2 by Pamlico Joe and Cleanwater Flo, the NC Wildlife Resources Commission's Safari Trailer, and tons of activities and exhibits from conservation agencies and organizations in the area. Specialty equipment used for firefighting and wildlife management will be on display. Activities include surf casting, making bat puppets and bird feeders, learning to ID sharks, watching how stormwater runs off, and participating in both the Wildlife Olympics and the Wildlife Obstacle course.
