Coastal NC National Wildlife Refuges Gateway Visitor Center and Headquarters at 65% Design Stage
The Design-Build team for the Coastal NC National Wildlife Refuges Gateway Visitor Center and Headquarters met recently to review the planned design which is currently 65% complete. Artistic rendering of the Coastal NC National Wildlife Refuges Gateway Visitor Center and Headquarters scheduled for groundbreaking this summer. The facility will be approximately 18,000 sq ft and was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. It will be built on a 35-acre site on the north end of Roanoke Island and is expected to open late summer of 2011. Rendering credit: MWHC/LS3P.
