Visit a Local National Wildlife Refuge this week-end and Join the Big Sit!

The Annual Big Sit! participation for Alligator River and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuges is scheduled for Sunday, October 10 from 6 am - 6 pm. If you are interested, please contact Cindy Heffley (cindy_heffley@fws.gov or 252-475-4180) to schedule a block of time. It is not required that you register. You may participate for an hour or more or just stop by to say hello! Alligator River sitters will be on a flatbed trailer at the corner of Milltail and Sawyer Lake Roads.
