Laurel Bay Unit of Alligator River Refuge Open to Approved Public Activities

Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge Manager Mike Bryant announced today the re-opening of Laurel Bay Farm Unit for approved public activities. These activities include hunting (check Refuge Regulations available at many locations on the refuge, at the Manteo office, or at http://www.fws.gov/southeast/pubs/allhnt.pdf), fishing, wildlife observation, and wildlife photography. Roads within the Laurel Bay Unit will remain closed to public vehicles due to wet conditions.
