The Center is located at 1440 Abernathy Creek Rd., Longview, WA, approximately three miles upstream of the confluence of Abernathy Creek with the Columbia River at river mile 57, and is approximately 13 miles west of Longview, WA.

Driving Directions:

Directions From the South (Portland, OR):

From the Portland, OR metro area, the Center is about 1 hour 20 minutes to the north.

• Travel north on Interstate 5 past Woodland and Kalama, WA.
• Take Exit 36 for Port of Longview, Ocean Beaches-Hwy 4 (exit ramp curves up and over Interstate 5 to the west).
• Proceed 3-4 miles straight ahead towards City Center.
• Be in middle lane by fourth traffic light, 15th Street, per overhead sign guidance for Long Beach-Hwy 4.
• Proceed straight through fourth light along left side of Lake Sacajawea for ~ 2-3 miles. You will pass through a residential area and by R. A. Long High School.
• After passing light at intersection with Louisiana Street, road forks.
• Bear left at sign for NW Nichols Blvd.
• Turn Left at next traffic light onto State Hwy 4.
• Travel straight through commercial section of Longview towards Cathlamet and Long Beach for another 11.5 miles. 
• You will eventually pass through the tiny village of Stella on the Columbia River, and ascend and descend "Bunker Hill".
• As you are descending Bunker Hill, a brown sign for “Abernathy Technology Center” will be visible on right (~7/10 of a mile past Mile Post 49).
• Turn right at bottom of steep hill onto Abernathy Creek Road.
• Proceed about 3 miles straight ahead, past yellow "Dead End" sign.
• The Center complex will soon be visible on your right.

Directions From the North (Olympia, WA):

From the Olympia, WA metro area, the Center is about 2 hours to the south.

• Travel south on Interstate 5 past Castle Rock, WA.
• Take Exit 39 for Three Rivers Mall, Ocean Beaches-Hwy 4.
• Turn right at base of off ramp.
• Proceed past the Mall and over a bridge over the Cowlitz River.
• Go ~ 3 traffic lights and take a left hand turn (in the right hand lane) following the signs for Ocean Beaches-State Hwy 4.
• Immediately merge to the right and into a right hand lane which merges onto State Hwy 4.
• Drive through Longview, ~10 miles, past shopping malls, Lake Sacajawea, residential areas, Safeway and Fred Meyer.
• Continue traveling straight through Longview towards Cathlamet and Long Beach for another 11.5 miles.
