 Fishing from shore is a real treat as anglers haul in weak fish and bluefish from the Atlantic Ocean! State and Federal regulations apply.
 Visitors can enjoy a walk on the beach to watch for wildlife, especially birds. April-May and September-October offer the best chance to sight migratory birds. Raptors, songbirds, and shorebirds navigate the coastline, giving you a chance to see them in flight or at rest near the shore. You may glimpse a merlin, kestrel or peregrine falcon hunting over the dunes as they build strength to reach their migration destination. In late spring and summer, plovers, sandpipers, willet, and other shorebirds give visitors quite a show as they move with the tides to find food. 
 Access to the beach year-round, 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
