Event Site: Aransas National Wildlife Refuge
Event Description: Interpretive Van Tours offered at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Tours are led by trained volunteers. Visitors will learn about the Refuge System & natural history of Aransas. There's a good chance of seeing alligator, white-tailed deer, armadillo,wading birds, and possibly whooping cranes. Reservations are required as seating is limited. The Aransas Lecture Series will offer "Alligator, Denizen of Refuge Wetlands" by Texas Master Naturalist from 12:00-12:50 p.m. in the Visitor Center.
