The Merced NWR is open daily from one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

 

• Respect other refuge visitors’ viewing opportunities
• Minimize disturbance to wildlife
• No collecting of plants, plant parts, or mushrooms
• No feeding wildlife
• Remain in vehicles on auto tour routes for optimal viewing
• No bicycling allowed on the Refuge
• No horseback riding
• No pets on nature trails
• No camping, campfires, or cooking grills
• Park vehicles only in designated parking areas
• Keeping noise levels to a minimum will enhance wildlife viewing
• Please remove all trash
• No fishing
